The Directorate of Religious Education will be organising a quiz competition for all parishes in the Archdiocese who subscribe for children's bulletin with the Directorate.

The quiz competition which will focus on readings, activities, puzzles, keywords and meanings as contained in the children's bulletin Liturgical Year B  will begin on the 1st of February 2025 with other preliminaries within the same month. 

So far, 30 parishes have registered for the competition.

The purpose of this competition is to evaluate the faith growth of our children and seed the faith in them .

The quiz competition is for children within the age bracket of 4 to 9yrs, and each parish is expected to present 3 candidates each.

At each of the stages of the competition our candidates will be given gifts while the overall winners will go with cash prizes and gifts for their parishes.

The department was able to carry out same competition among Catholic primary schools in the Archdiocese last December.

This competition is first of its kind, many thanks to our Sponsor, Sir Felix Fapohunda, KSJI for his support and passion for evangelization and faith matters.
