ST ANNES IGANGAN CELEBRATES HER PARISH HARVEST
The much-anticipated parish harvest at Igangan took place on December 8, 2024, marked by a day of thanksgiving, celebration, and community unity. The preparation for the harvest began on December 7, with the cleaning of the Church premises, the arrangement of seating, and practice sessions for the liturgical functionaries in the Church, ensuring that everything was in place for the big day.
The Harvest Mass began at 9:00am, with the Church filled up with parishioners eager to participate in the day's activities. The choir rendered a melodious and uplifting song, setting a joyful and reverent tone for the occasion. Their performance added a special touch to the celebration, enriching the liturgy.
During the homily, the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Callistus Afolabi emphasized the significance of the season in relation to the coming of Christ.
