FORTITUDE

Fortitude, commonly called courage, is a virtue that enables us to overcome fear and remain steady in our will in the face of physical or spiritual obstacles. 

Through, fortitude, the soul is strengthened against natural fear, and supported to the end in the performance of duties. It affects the will, impulse and energy, moving one to undertake without hesitating, the most arduous of tasks, to face danger, and endure without complaint.

Fortitude enables a person to overcome fear and be willing to take risks. 

It is also a virtue of the martyrs, who were willing to give up their lives rather than renounce their faith. 

Fortitude shows itself in moral courage against the evil. 

Fortitude is a virtue that helps us stand up for what is right even when others say that moral action is wrong.

Fortitude allows us to cope with poverty andl loss.
