On May 16, 2026 many people gathered at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Oke-Bola, Ibadan to witness the inauguration of the union between Anthony Chujioke Ejiofor and Vivian Oluchukwu Ezenyi (both from Anambra State). Around 11am, Mount Zion Chorister who were there because Anthony is a member of CCRN sang joyfully as the Wedding Mass was about to begin. Their Sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. Ethelbert Ilosoba were smiling all through!

The Chief Celebrant, Rev. Fr. Anthony Fasaki, the Assistant Cathedral Administrator of St. Mary Cathedral; assisted by Rev. Fr. Henry Omolade welcomed all present in the Church. While the ceremony was ongoing, the Homilist, Rev. Fr. Henry Omolade reminded everyone present that every union is unique: one marriage is different from another. “Most of the time each union tends to compete with other couples rather than look up to the Holy Family, who did not lose focus all through their journey. It is important that you move close to the Holy Family such that when there is a problem, Mother Mary will intercede for you like she did during the Wedding at Canaan.

“Do not give room to those willing to gossip with you about your partner; you and your partner are one flesh. Let the strong help the weak! Pray together for a family that prays together stays together! You must not report each other to your parents, other relations or friends no matter the situation.” He concluded.

Both parents and other relations of both the groom and the bride were present to rejoice with them. After the Church ceremony, all present were invited to a blissful reception at Police Barrack, Eleyele which lasted very long. May the Holy Family keep watch over this wonderful new couples in Jesus’ Mighty Name!
