A joyous gathering took place on Saturday, 11th April, 2026 at Divine Mercy Monatan, Ibadan as family, friends, and well-wishers came together to celebrate a remarkable milestone in the lives of Pa Emmanuel Olayemi and Mama Olayemi. The couple marked Pa Olayemi's 80th birthday, Mama Christianan Olayemi's 76th birthday, and their 55th wedding anniversary.

 

The celebrant's son, Dr. Olayemi, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who attended the event, acknowledging the love and support shown to the family. In his homily, Fr. Sangokeye Julius commended the couple's faith and service, urging all to emulate their example of living a life that positively impacts others.

 

The Archbishop, His Grace Most Rev. Gabriel Abegunrin who graced the occasion, presented a special gift from the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV to the celebrants, noting that the good they have done is evident in the lives of their children. The event was a testament to the love, respect, and admiration for this wonderful couple.
