All parishioners of St Anne Parish, ldo gathered at St Nicholas Catholic Church, Elenusonso to celebrate the 2026 Easter Picnic, OUR GALILEE on Easter Monday, 6th April, 2026

The programme started with HOLY MASS celebrated by the Parish Priest, Reverend Father Francis Oyetunji.

In his brief homily, he encouraged us to go proclaim the GOOD NEWS of the RISEN LORD. He admonished us to share things in common as this is the reality of coming together. That is the resurrection of life in which life in its fullness is complete. lt is what nobody can tamper with, he submitted.

The second stage of the programme featured varieties of activities such as Welcome song and Youth drama themed " We are ONE", choreography by Parish CYON, Bible verses recitation by our children, " Who Sabi Eat", Dance competition s for both Adults and Children and Family Competitions in which Mr Fredrick and Mrs Mary Akerele, Mr Linus and Mrs Elizabeth Ogbaji displayed how families should understand one another.

Reverend Sisters from Eucharist Heart of JESUS (EHJ) and Daughters of the HOLY SPIRIT (DHS) Congregations added colour to the occasion.

Catechists Bon Martin, Paul Ogor, Theophilus Teeseer and Catechist Augustine Dimgba exhibited their joy and happiness while Dr. Stephen Taiwo gave the vote of thanks.

Reverend Father Francis Oyetunji gave the benediction.
