A new Executive for PPC, of St. Dominic Catholic Church, Ogungbade, Ibadan, has just been inaugurated.

 

Performing the inauguration in the Church last Sunday, the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Michael Olayemi, urged the newly elected executive officers of the Parish Pastoral Council, PPC, to serve as good role models to all parishioners of the Church. “You should always play pivotal role in all Church activities, attend early morning Mass regularly, pay attention to the welfare of all parishioners, and contribute effectively to the all-round development of the Church".

 

He said it was out of place to find any executive officer of the PPC wanting within and outside the Church.

 

Fr. Olayemi however thanked the Church for reconstituting the PPC and promised that he would do his possible best to take the parish to higher heights.

 

The new EXCO includes: Rev. Fr Michael Olayemi as Chairman; Mr James Mozia - Vice Chairman;

 Miss Elizabeth Akhagbosu - Secretary and Mrs. Magdalene Adetosoye - Asst.  Secretary. Others are Financial Secretary- Mrs Rita Ojieaja; Treasurer - Mrs Julie Emore; PRO- Miss Jane-Joy Imohiosen while the Ex-officios include Mr Sunday Adewumi, Mrs Lois Idowu, Mr Eseka Ojieaja, Sir Fred Arogundade and Mrs  Oluwalese.
