HRH Oba Ezekiel Adeniran Agunlejika (Anirinbiogun IV), Olokebode of Okebode-Ijesa recently appraised the Catholic Church for her humanitarian services apart from evangelization and salvation of souls for Christ. This happened at the annual interactive event by the Church with farmers organized by the Rural Development Programme (RUDEP) at the Conference Centre, Bishop House, Osogbo.

He said he admired the Church for the establishment of Justice Development and Peace Makers' Centre (JDPMC) for promoting justice, development and peace in the rural communities in Osun State. ‘The Church takes care of the community farmers through the RUDEP and involves herself in Prison consultations and rendering legal assistance whenever necessary especially for the less privileged people.’ He thanked the JDPMC for the establishment of "gaari" factory in his domain; Okebode-Ijesa and their regular advice and support for farmers in his jurisdiction.
