The Parish Priest of St. Peter's Catholic Church, located along Iganmode Road, Sango Ota, Ogun State, within the Abeokuta Diocese, Very Rev. Fr. Clement Ajibola Ashade, has called on his parishioners to cherish Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament and to stop seeking solutions from unreliable sources. He made this appeal during the Christ the King celebration held on Sunday, November 23, 2025.

Fr. Ashade encouraged the faithful to fully embrace and utilize the various sacraments offered by the Catholic Church. He reassured them that they need not look far for answers to their challenges, as Jesus is truly close—present in the Blessed Sacrament.

During the procession, Fr. Ashade prayed earnestly for leaders worldwide, with special mention of Nigeria, asking God to grant them greater wisdom as they fulfill their responsibilities. He also prayed for the safe release of all kidnapped individuals in the country, as well as for expectant mothers, the sick, and the unemployed.

As the procession moved through the town, a woman—whose name was not recorded—approached the priest carrying the monstrance and requested his prayers. Additionally, a young man suffering from mental illness knelt in worship upon seeing the priest bless the people with the monstrance, praising Jesus to the admiration of the congregation.
