Episode 99 SEXUAL ACTS AGAINST THE VIRTUE OF CHASTITY – PART II

DRE, Ibadan Archdiocese

Homosexuality: This is the condition in which a person is sexually attracted to someone of the same sex, contrary to natural law and the purpose of sexuality as God created it, which is the gift of life. This is because such sexual acts can never result in the birth of children.

However, such persons must be treated with love, respect and compassion because they did not choose the condition upon themselves.

Incest: This is a situation where close relatives engage in sexual activities with their fellow family members. For instance, a father, uncle, aunt, mother, may have canal knowledge with his or her daughter, son, niece, or nephew, as the case may be.

Pornography: This is the portrayal of sexual content in an obscene and degrading manner, in words, movies or pictures and even video calls. Pornography takes what is meant to be very personal and private expressions of love, and uses it to give unhealthy pleasure or satisfaction to others. Sexuality is beautiful, pornography is not. Pornography cheapens sexuality. It harms the dignity of both participants and all who get pleasure from it. It is especially evil when children are exploited by, or exposed to it.

Lesbianism: This is also known as Sapplism or female homosexuality, the tendency or state of a human female to be emotionally and usually sexually attracted to other females.

Onanism: This is the withdrawal of the penis in sexual intercourse (Coitus interuptus) so that ejaculation takes place outside of the vagina, to avoid conception.

Bestiality: This is an inordinate sexual relationship between man and animals. In the whole, it defies nature and sexuality.
