The National body of the Catholic Men Organization of Nigeria (CMON) has directed and set up various committees to kick start the celebration of 25th Silver Jubilee of her existence.

    According to the directive, all Parishes, Denearies, Dioceses and Provinces are to actively participate on the celebration through various programs lined up for the anniversary which runs from June to August 2025.

    Towards this end, the Ibadan Province of Catholic Men Organization has appointed a Committee to coordinate and oversee the affairs at the Province headed by Chief Cosmas Olalekan Oni from Ibadan Archdiocese; Pius Oluwasegun Adigun, Secretary of the Committee from Osogbo Diocese; Dr. Emmanuel Sangotayo from Oyo Diocese; Dr Olusegun Taiwo, Ondo Diocese; Sir Albert Ogunsina, Ekiti Diocese and Mr Poluwashina from Ilorin Diocese with the mandate of organizing a well befitting celebration.

    Towards this end, the Committee is calling for entries from interested Parishes, individuals on the approved sporting events of the anniversary at the Province such as Football competition, indoor games such as Table Tennis, Ayo Olopon, Ludo, Drafts, Quiz competition and Card (Whot) etc., while sponsors of these events are being solicited from individuals, Parishes and organizations.  

The directive also added that Presidents of Dioceses under the Province have been called upon to put in local organizing committee to coordinate and oversee finalists at their Dioceses and Archdiocese for the grand final coming up in August at a date and venue to be announced later.
