     On May 4, 2025 (The 3rd Sunday of Ester), the CMO of St. Francis Catholic Church, Sanyo-Soka brought joy to members of the Church as they celebrated Fathers’ Day in a grand style. All the CMO members were dressed in the society’s uniform and took charge of all major functions such as Altar servers, choristers, Church wardens, etc. as perfectly as possible.

     The Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Jude Adeyemo happily welcomed everyone and especially the CMO members. During his sermon, he reminded the men how the Church expected them to play their roles as heads of their respective families. He warned that both husbands and wives will succeed in their marriage if they believe that love is patient and kind as emphasized by St. Paul. He also advised couples to always remember the marriage vows they made on their wedding days.

     The Priest also reminded them how Our Mother Mary and Our Lord Jesus Christ attended the marriage at Cana and removed the garment of shame from the couple at the wedding. Hence, our couples should always look up to them when difficulties overwhelm them. The CMO fed the entire members of the Church and presented gifts to the Church and had a group photograph with the Priest.
