On March 16, 2025, St Anne Catholic Church, Sasa, Ibadan heartily welcomed the Society of St. Vincent De Paul of Ibadan Archdiocese. The Parish was selected to host the society’s Archdiocesan Monthly Meeting. The gathering served as a forum for members of the society all over the Archdiocese to meet and deliberate on matters of importance to the Society.

The Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Peter Ajeigbe welcomed the members of SSVP and admonished them to hold on to their activities dearly and carry them out with uttermost dedication. This is because the society is one that portrays a vital message of our Lord, Jesus Christ – Helping the poor and charity. The society is an extension of Christ’s office. The SSVP members were advised to take the society and her activities with utmost commitment. They should endeavor to focus on the great reward, which is in heaven.

Fr. Peter Ajeigbe also admonished the lukewarm members amongst them to take the society seriously and be more diligent and dedicated to their services to their neighbors and one another.
