The Parish Priest of St. Theresa’s Parish Awotan on the 23rd of March 2025, inaugurated the first Executives of the Catholic Men Organisation (CMO) of the Parish. The Executives were elected on the 8th March, 2025, when the members of CMO came together and elected new officers for the organisation. The proceedings of the day was witnessed by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Claudius Uwaoma who admonished the men, as he reminded them of their importance in the Church as the pillars of the Domestic Church (their homes) and the Church in general, he pleaded for their commitment.

Activities of the day was set on motion as the Presiding Officer Chief Boniface Okeke invited Catechist Akpah Patrick to anchor the election. At the end of the electoral exercise, the following persons were elected into various offices as the new executives of CMO St. Theresa’s Parish Awotan.

President - Mr. John Ogundiran; Vice President  - Mr. Ali Leo-Christian; Gen. Secretary - Mr. Martins Dare; Ass. Gen. Secretary - Mr. Mayowa Augustine; Fin. Secretary - Mr. Christian Ukoanu; Treasurer -Mr. Festus Onwe; P R O     - Prince Wale Olapade and Provost/Welfare      - Mr. Ben Goubadia.

In his acceptance speech on behalf of the executives, Mr. John Ogundiran thanked all members for their confidence in the elected officers. He pleaded for support and cooperation from all members for the overall interest and progress of the organisation.

The Parish Priest afterwards blessed all men present and wish the new executives the best in the discharge of their duties
