Turaki Adini of Oyo, Adanla, Urges Muslims To Sustain Ramadan Lessons
Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem MCIArb, MCIOB, МСАВЕ, the Turaki Adini of Oyo State, has urged Muslims in the state and across the country to maintain the cleanliness and lessons of Ramadan season.
Karheem, who is also the Mogaji (head) of Adanla Compound, Ibadan, made the call over the weekend during the end of the month prayer, held at Princess Alhaja Haolat Apinke Adanla’s Mosque, Adanla’s Palace, Ring-Road, Ibadan.
Adanla not only spoke against immoral behavior during and after the Holy month of Ramadan but also described lack of fear of Allah as a major hindrance to prayers.
The CEO of Afia Construction and Building Engineering Consultancy Services Ltd noted that Muslims must shun the idea of going back to their dishonorable lifestyles after Ramadan.
He said, “Some people are always eager for Ramadan to end. If you ask them they would say they can’t wait for it to end. Meanwhile, it’s probably the alcohol they want to consume or adultery they want to commit that wouldn’t allow them to wait for Ramadan to end. What then is the lesson or lessons you have learnt from Ramadan? If all you want is to go back to your old ways. It’s so bad that some even resume back to their former self the next day that Ramadan ends.
“Also, what is the relationship between an Alfa and alcohol or human parts? Where is that in the Holy Quran?
“If you continue living such life, I can confirm to you that Allah doesn’t want your fasting neither does He needs your prayers.
“So, you have to choose between sticking to Allah’s teachings as enshrined in the Quran or being a herbalist.”
