FORMER CHURCH WARDENS’ PRESIDENT, PETER KEHINDE LAYS TO REST.

The former President of the Church Wardens League of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Lasokun, Late Mr Peter Kehinde, who died recently has been described as an hardworking, gentle and soft-spoken personality.

In his homily at a requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of the deceased, the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Peter Ibimiluyi noted that the deceased lived his life faithfully, serving God with all that he had.

The Chief Celebrant at the Mass was Rev. Fr. John Ademoye, the Chaplain of the Archdiocesan League of Church Wardens.

Continuing his homily, Fr. Ibimiluyi urged the children to establish themselves in the faith their father left. He said they would be doing his memory a lot of good by walking on the path their late father created for them.

Several parishioners and Community members attended both the Christian wake on Thursday the 14th February and requiem Mass on Friday 15th February, in spite of their busy schedules both days, being official working days.
