Born on February 6th at Sabari Barracks in Saki, Oyo State, Ambassador Edith Isidahomen hails from the family of the late (Rtd.) Captain and Mrs. Peter Aligameh of Imiakebu North Ibie in Edo State. As the seventh of eight children, she was nurtured in an environment that instilled the values of discipline, resilience, and service; principles that have guided her throughout her life.

Championing Catholic Artistes and Entertainers

 Ambassador Isidahomen's passion for the arts and her deep-rooted faith converged in her involvement with the Catholic Artistes and Entertainers Association of Nigeria (CAEAN). Her journey with CAEAN began in the Ibadan Archdiocese, where she served as the Archdiocesan Coordinator. Recognizing her exceptional leadership and commitment, she was appointed as the Provincial Coordinator for the Ibadan Ecclesiastical Province. In these roles, she fostered a vibrant community of Catholic artists, encouraging them to use their talents as instruments of evangelization and cultural enrichment.

Her visionary leadership and dedication culminated in her election as the National President of CAEAN during the Association's Annual Conference and National Convention at Ibadan, in July 2024. Under her stewardship, CAEAN has experienced significant growth, with increased participation from various Dioceses, including Ijebu-Ode, Ondo, Oyo, Auchi Dioceses and others. Her tenure has been marked by initiatives that bridge the gap between faith and creativity, empowering artists to convey the Gospel's message through diverse artistic expressions.

Advocacy for Women's Empowerment

Beyond her contributions to the arts, Ambassador Isidahomen is a stalwart member of the Catholic Women Organization of Nigeria. Serving as a prominent executive member within the Ibadan Archdiocese and Province, she has been a vocal advocate for women's active participation in Church’s life. Her efforts have focused on creating platforms for women to engage in spiritual, social, and economic activities, thereby fostering a sense of community and empowerment.

Entrepreneurial Endeavors and Artistic Contributions

Ambassador Isidahomen's entrepreneurial spirit is exemplified through her role as the CEO of Edith 'n' Styles, a fashion enterprise that reflects her keen sense of aesthetics and commitment to excellence.

Also, as the CEO of Surprise by EDITH"N"STYLES — a testament to entrepreneurial brilliance, Ambassador Edith Isidahomen has built a brand that merges creativity with business excellence. Her keen vision, resilience, and innovative approach have set new standards in the cake and confectionery industry, inspiring countless others to pursue their dreams.

Her contributions to the fashion industry have been recognized with awards, including the Young Achiever Makeup Artist and Actress of the Year in 2016.

In the realm of film, she has made significant strides as a Nollywood actress and producer.

Notably, she produced the movie "HOPE," which delves into the experiences of artists navigating their faith and professional lives. The film offers a profound message of resilience and trust in divine providence, resonating with audiences and inspiring many. She was also a major character in the thriller movies that include Alagogo Ide, Iyi'gba, Orukọ Mi, to mention just a few.
