CATHOLIC PRIESTS IN IBADAN ARCHDIOCESE GATHER FOR ANNUAL PASTORAL SEMINAR
The Catholic Archdiocese of Ibadan recently hosted its annual Pastoral Seminar, bringing together priests from across the Archdiocese for a time of reflection, sharing, and planning. The Seminar was held from 29th January to 31st January, 2025 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Mokola, Ibadan.
This year's seminar featured a keynote presentation on new income generation strategies, delivered by a renowned banking mogul, Sir. Patrick Akin Akinwuntan, KSM (FCA, MBA, FCIB). The expert's insights were aimed at equipping priests with innovative ideas for sustainable resource management and development within their parishes and the Archdiocese at large.
In addition to the keynote address, the seminar included reports from the various Parishes and Apostolates within the Archdiocese. These reports provided a comprehensive overview of the current state of affairs, successes, and challenges faced by each Parish and Apostolate.
The sharing of these reports facilitated a thorough assessment and planning process, enabling the priests to better understand the needs and opportunities within their respective communities. This collective reflection and planning will inform the Archdiocese's strategic priorities and initiatives for the upcoming year.
The annual Pastoral Seminar serves as an essential platform for the priests of the Catholic Archdiocese of Ibadan to come together, share experiences, and enhance their pastoral ministry.
