ARCHDIOCESAN CHRISTMAS CAROLS 2024: A JOYOUS CELEBRATION

The Archdiocesan Christmas Carols 2024, held on December 1st, 2024, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Oke Ado, Ibadan was a resounding success.

 

The event, which marked the official commencement of Christmas celebrations in the Archdiocese was attended by a large and enthusiastic congregation. The highlight of the evening was the special appearance of the Maronite Choir, led by Bishop Simon Faddoul.

 

The Archbishop of the Archdiocese, Most Rev. Gabriel Abegunrin, delivered a heartfelt Christmas message, emphasizing the significance of the season and the importance of spreading love, kindness, and compassion. He also declared the Christmas Carols open in the Archdiocese, marking the beginning of a joyous and festive season.

 

The event was well-organized, and the arena was well arranged and adorned, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. The Christmas Carols ably led by the Archdiocesan Choir, were sung with great enthusiasm and devotion filled the air, and the sense of community and joy was palpable. There were other presentations from the HCA, CWO groups, Minor and Major Seminarians, Solo presentations, Deanery presentations and lots more.

 

The Archdiocesan Christmas Carols 2024 was a wonderful celebration that brought together people from all walks of life in the Archdiocese, to rejoice in the true spirit of Christmas. Giving the vote of Thanks, Fr. Peter Ibimiluyi, the Archdiocesan Music Chaplain appreciated all for their presence and support in making the Carols a success. He identified the efforts of CMO for assisting in catering for the needs of the Carol.
