St. Benedict Celebrates Rev. Fr. Johnson Iwuala @50

When someone near and dear to you turns another year older, you’ll want to do everything you can to make their day extra memorable.

Just two weeks as Parish Priest of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Oloruntumo, Rev. Fr. Johnson Ikpenze Iwuala was surprisingly woken up in the early hours of Sunday 15th of September, 2024 by Trumpeters (Parara) organized by the parishioners to usher in the celebration of his 50th birthday.

At both Masses on Sunday, the Church was filled up with the representatives of all the parishes he had served.

The reception was characterized by cutting of cake and eulogy. He was eulogized as a true one the Lord has chosen.

Our dear Rev. Fr. Johnson Ikpenze Iwuala.

“On this day of your birthday, we wish you abundant happiness and love. May all your dreams turn into reality and may lady luck visit your home today. Happy birthday to one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known.”

“Count not the candles…see the lights they give. Count not the years, but the life you live. Wishing you a wonderful time ahead. Happy birthday.”

It dawns unto us, a day all long awaited, for to the one excellent in creation.
