Celebration of Grace: 90 and 85 Years of God’s Faithfulness
Cyril Olu ADEIGBO
It is said that true age is not counted only in years, but in lives impacted, values lived out, and the grace of God walked in.
In that spirit, family, friends, priests and well-wishers gathered at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Eleta, Ibadan on Saturday, 29th August 2026, to celebrate the 90th birthday of Pa. Francis Adebayo Kudaisi and the 85th birthday of Mrs. Agnes Kikelomo Kudaisi. It was a joyful thanksgiving for life, faith, family, and God’s unending faithfulness.
The Holy Mass was presided by the Vicar General, Very Rev. Fr. Gregory Oyelami, flanked by Monsignor Peter Otubusi and Rev. Fr. Felix Adedigba. In his homily, the preacher commended the celebrants for their decades of service to God and the Church. He praised how God has used them to raise godly children and to bless many lives. He urged them to keep giving thanks, noting that the day was not just about birthdays, but about God’s power, goodness and mercy evident in their lives.
The gathering included priests, religious, family and friends, all united in gratitude for the gift of long life given to Pa. Francis and Mrs. Agnes. It was a memorable day of joy and thanksgiving. Their 90 and 85 years stand as a testimony that each stage of life is a gift, and every year added is another reason to praise the Lord. We pray for perfect peace and more of God’s grace upon the celebrants. Amen.
