Association of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Ibadan Archdiocese elected a new Archdiocesan Service Team to man the affairs of the Association for the next Four Years.

The election was conducted by Mr. Gabriel Adewole the Provincial President who as well represented the Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ajewole together with Mrs. Mary Makinde the Provincial Secretary.

The election took place at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, Mokola, Ibadan, Oyo State on Saturday 29th November, 2025. The position occupied by respective individuals are listed as follows:

Mr. Matthew Abe – President; Mrs. Felicia Onih – Vice President; Mr. Joshua Olusanya – General Secretary; Mr. Vincent Achibong – Assistant General Secretary; Mrs. Rose Igboanugo – Treasurer; Mrs. Christiana Adeogun – Financial Secretary; Mr. J.O. Molade – Publicity Secretary; Mr. Sebastine Uche – Promoter; Mrs. Simisere Ngozi – Social Welfare; Mr. Francis Jaiyeola – Registrar; Mrs. E.E. Amawhe – Auditor; Mrs. B. Farinola – Night Adorer 1; Mr. Kayode Ademoye – Night Adorer 2; Mrs. Cynthia Asemota – Taercian Coordinator 1; Mrs. Christiana Edoh – Taercian Coordinator 2; Mr. P.K. Adigun – Ex-Official 1; Mrs. M.O. Makinde – Ex-Official 2.

Meanwhile, Members of the Association of sacred Heart of Jesus (SHJ)) and Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) Ibadan Archdiocese is organizing a one day training seminar for members.

 

The training will take place on Saturday 24th January, 2026 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Araromi Bus stop Odo-ona, Ibadan, Oyo State. It will commence at 9:00am prompt "Promoter Forum" is the theme of the training seminar.

 

All centre Presidents in all the Parishes and Outstations in the Archdiocese are expected to mobilize their members for this important seminar because it is mandatory for all members to attend.

 

Deanery Coordinators should please liaise with their Parish Centre Presidents to arrange the transportation of their members to the seminar venue.

 

All the past Executive officers of the Association are invited to attend the seminar. Members should please endeavour to attend this seminar punctually.
