CCRN LAGOS PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE HOLDS IN ABEOKUTA

The Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria (CCRN), Lagos Province, held its 4th Provincial Conference at the Sacred Heart Catholic College, Oke Ilewo, Abeokuta, Ogun State from October 30 to November 2, 2025.

 

 

The theme of the conference was “GOD IS STILL GOD”. It featured Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Recitation of the Holy Rosary, Praise and Worship and lectures on various topics such as ‘IGNITE YOUR FIRE IN ME’ taken from the book of Ezekiel 20: 47. This was the opening lecture and the speaker was Bro Joseph Amen.

 

 

Bro Geoffrey Okereke spoke on the topic ‘STRENGTHEN YOUR FEEBLE MIND’ taken from Isaiah 35:3-4. The third lecture entitled: ‘ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET’ was delivered by Brother Pascal Nzeribe. Brother Patrick Okonkwo spoke on the topic: ‘BUILDING A FAMILY IN THE CONTEMPORARY TIME’. The fifth lecture entitled ‘I KNOW YOU NOT’ was delivered by Sister Nonye Martins. Sister Elizabeth of the Sacred Heart Hospital Abeokuta gave a health talk on ‘BUILDING ROUTINES FOR SUSTAINABLE HEALTH’.

 

 

Rev. Fr. Emeneogu Samuel delivered a lecture on ‘IN HIM ALONE’ followed by all night ministration and Eucharist Celebration.

 

 

Bro Okey Ugwumadu spoken on the theme of the conference  -  GOD IS STILL GOD. 

 

 

The newly elected leader of the National Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria Brother Celestine Ugwu of Sokoto Diocese was at the occasion. He commended everyone who contributed to the success of the conference and urged members of the Renewal to keep the faith and join hands in building the proposed Provincial House. Past leaders of the Renewal were given awards of excellence in recognition of their contributions to the growth of the Renewal.

 

 

The occasion, which started with Eucharist Celebration by His Lordship, Bishop Peter Olukayode Odetoyinbo of Abeokuta Diocese, ended with Mass at 3:30am on November 2, celebrated by the Chaplain of the CCRN Lagos Province, Very Rev. Fr. Gilbert Fagbemi.
