Archbishop Abegunrin reconfigures Deaneries, appoints New Deans
In a very joyful atmosphere, as the Archdiocese of Ibadan gathers for the priestly ordination of 5 of her sons, Archbishop Abegunrin has made known a new development in the Archdiocese which is the creation of new deaneries and reconfiguration of the existing ones.
The Archdiocese now has 8 deaneries which go by the names: Oke-Padi Deneary with Very. Rev. Fr. Richard Omolade as the Dean, Oke-Ado Deneary, Fr. Matthew Oniseitan as the Dean, Oluyole Deneary, Very. Rev. Fr. Gregory Oyelami as the Dean, Oke-Offa Deneary, Very. Rev. Fr. Joseph Idowu as the Dean, Bodija Deanery, Fr. Joseph Akinbinu as the Dean, Mokola Deneary, Fr. Abiodun Ademoye OP, Igbo-Ora Deanery, Fr. Vincent Alabi as the Dean and Ikire Deneary, Fr. Philip Egunjobi as the Dean
It is believed that this new development will enhance the work of evangelization in the Archdiocese.
