
NEW EXECUTIVES EMERGE IN CAEAN IBADAN ARCHDIOCESE ELECTION

The Catholic Artistes and Entertainers Association of Nigeria (CAEAN), Ibadan Archdiocese, has successfully elected new executives to steer the affairs of the association for the next term. The election was held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, under the close supervision of the CAEAN National leadership.
Mr. Alademomi Festus emerged as the Chairman after a peaceful and transparent electoral process, while Mrs. Akerele Yetunde was elected as Vice Chairman. Other elected executives include Miss Uzor Asumpta Ada as General Secretary, Miss Okotie Maryjane as Assistant General Secretary, and Mr. Emmanuel Onah as Financial Secretary.
Mr. Osirim Raphael was elected Treasurer, Mr. Fasanya Daniel as Public Relations Officer/Director of Socials, and Miss Edward Mary as the new Welfare Officer.
The electoral process was conducted and overseen by the CAEAN National President, Amb. Edith Isidahomen, alongside the National Financial Secretary, Mr. Akerele Dominic. The organizers commended the candidates and members for their maturity and commitment to the unity of the association.
In preparation for the formal handover, the inauguration ceremony for the newly elected executives has been scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 6, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Eruwa, Oyo State.
The Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Ibadan, Most Rev. Gabriel 'Leke Abegunrin, has been duly informed of the election and the upcoming inauguration. Members of the clergy, CAEAN national and regional leaders, entertainers, and parishioners from across the Archdiocese are expected to grace the event.
This election marks a significant step in the continuous growth and consolidation of CAEAN's mission to promote Gospel values through arts and entertainment across the Catholic Community in Ibadan Archdiocese.
