
CWO, ST JOSEPH, OKE ADO HOLDS ELECTION OF NEW OFFICERS

The election of new Executives of the Catholic Women Organization, St. Joseph Catholic Church Oke-Ado Parish recently took place. The election which conducted by the AICWO Vice-President 1, Amb. (Mrs) Edith Isidahomen;
AICWO General Secretary, Mrs. Akinwalere Victoria and
AICWO Chief Whip, Mrs. Ayimiro Mary was held on Sunday 8th of June, 2025.
The election produced the new Executives thus: President - Mrs. Felicity Onine; Vice President 1 - Mrs. Pauline Shonubi; Vice President 2 - Mrs. Irene Akubudike; Secretary - Mrs. Grace Ajibola; Assistant Secretary - Mrs. Asemota Cynthia; Treasure - Mrs. Nwaocha Immaculate; Financial Secretary - Mrs. Christiana Oluwatoogun; Social Secretary - Mrs. M A Adetunji; Vice Social Secretary - Mrs. Queen Ude; PRO 1 - Mrs. Ajibola Comfort; PRO 2 - Mrs. Onokpeku Janet; Chief Whip - Mrs. Ezem; Welfare 1- Mrs. Adeya; Welfare 2 - Mrs. Ojewunmi; Auditor 1- Mrs. Okoli Francisca; Auditor 2 - Mrs. Jenkawo Comfort; and Ex-Officio - Mrs. M D Ogundokun.
Speeches were delivered at the event by IPP CWO President and Mama Orok, in which both appreciated the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Benedict Ugwoegbu, past Excos and the members of CWO in parish.
The newly elected President, Mrs. Felicity Onine also presented her acceptance speech. She thanked the parish priest, members of AICWO Executive present, Past Exco and all the members of CWO in the parish for their support and cooperation.
“Through Mary Our Mother, We Succeed.
My Dear Mothers, I am overwhelmed by your show of love and enthusiasm towards the conduct and election of our parish CWO new executive. Thanks for giving me your mandate.
“I am humbled and grateful to accept this big task as the President of our Organisation. I thank God and you all for another opportunity to serve and lead.
“As we strive to promote our faith and make positive impact, I promise to work tirelessly with my dynamic team, supportive Parish Priest, Mothers and Parishioners.
“Together let us continue to uphold our values, as we support and keep our great records within the parish, deanery and Archdiocesan Level.
Thank you all for entrusting me with the responsibility.
May we continue to show love, compassion and generosity and may God's mercy, protection and wisdom continue to abide with us. Amen.
Through Mary our Mother we shall succeed.”
The election of new Exco for the parish was actually a success.
